To the northwest from Santa Cruz proper, there are
numerous picturesque beaches. This is Panther Beach just south of
Davenport. July 2004
Below are two sunset panoramic
photos of the Lahontan Valley - Fallon NV
shot from the top of Rattlesnake Hill. The town calls itself the
"Oasis of Nevada" due to its huge reservoir and irrigation systems
dating from the early 1900s - you can see the cultivation possible in an
otherwise arid locale. July 2004

the northeast looking over
Tucson, Arizona to the Catalina Mountains.Tucson is
a diverse, arty, exciting metropolitan area. Arizona regularly
presents beautiful landscapes like this one.

Isn't it stunning
the way the fiery sunset reflects on these windows. This is
along Highway 95 north of Fallon. Look carefully at your
surroundings wherever you are, and you'll see little natural
tricks like this all the time.
